🎥 Le cinéaste Mehran Tamadon a subi des interrogatoires idéologiques en Iran. Dans 𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐈, il demande à Zar Amir Ebrahimi (Prix d’interprétation au @festivaldecannes pour son rôle dans ‘Les Nuits de Mashhad’), elle-même victime des interrogateurs, de l’interroger comme le ferait un agent du régime afin d’en révéler la violence et l’absurdité.
Mais très vite, leurs rôles les dépassent…

L’approche documentaire de Mehran Tamadon, qui risque la prison s’il revenait en Iran, fait écho aux arrestations de Jafar Panahi (‘Taxi Téhéran’), Saeed Roustaee (‘Leila et ses frères’) ou Mohammad Rasoulof (‘Le Diable n’existe pas’), emprisonnés pour « propagande contre le système ».
🎥 En France, il réalise ce diptyque qui repousse les limites du cinéma en espérant ébranler la conscience des bourreaux…

Soon after, I was joined by a group of creative professionals and supportive talents who brought it to life.
After its completion at the beginning of this year, “Norma” had its first exposure at the recent Cannes “Short Film Corner.” Today, I’m thrilled to announce that our film has been selected to compete at @veneziashorts among some of the best films of the past year. Needless to say, without the dedication and love of our great team and the support of amazing friends, making “Norma” wouldn’t have been possible, and I wholeheartedly thank you for that.❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼
I’m also happy to announce that coinciding with this good news, my company Screenshot, after a bumpy year, has been revived, and you will hear more about its new life soon. 🤘🏽
