Kirsten Storms Instagram - I’m in a state of disbelief and complete sadness. I don’t typically do posts like this, but Johnny was such a special person and it feels important (for me) to put these words out there. To @johnnywactor ‘s mother and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you must be feeling right now. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Johnny was one of those rare “real individuals” that you almost never come across. I was fortunate enough to have some really good conversations with him where we discussed things I don’t typically open up about. For some reason, we talked about the deep stuff. He was a safe space for those conversations and, in turn, he would talk about his life. He genuinely cared about people and their journeys in life. During his time on GH I witnessed him work hard and truly have respect for every single person in our building. I just cannot believe that his life was stolen from him the way it was. My heart hurts. RIP Johnny.

She’s wonderfully honest, open, loving, GORGEOUS, really f’ing funny, an effortlessly badass actor (can I get an amen to this please), a fantastic mama to three gorgeous kids, a great listener, an even better advice giver and a really supportive friend. There are many more positive things I could say, but I’m parked in front of Target and don’t have time to make this as long as it should be. Kirsten Storms Instagram - First, thank you for all of the well wishes I’ve received over the last few days. 🥰 Little bit of info for those who are wondering... I spent the last few years having random health issues that I disregarded as side affects to my medications or just something I was experiencing due to age. When I went to get an MRI for some severe neck pain I have been experiencing for the last few months (I assumed this neck pain was also causing my frequent “migraines”) my amazingly thorough orthopedist ordered an MRI of my head just to be on the “safe side” - even though that isn’t his area of expertise. Truly a great doctor. That’s when we stumbled upon a rather large, very full of fluid, cyst that was attached to the lower portion of brain. I feel very fortunate that my situation wasn’t more serious and that I had a wonderful neurosurgeon who immediately knew how to fix it. I’m not gonna lie, brain surgery had me nervous, but I’m immensely thankful to my family, friends, and incredible “work family” who have been supportive, kind and loving during a time when I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions. Work is a great place to be everyday and for the 2 months leading up to my surgery I found a lot of comfort being around the people I’ve worked beside for so many years. I’m excited to get back to it after my recovery. (Yes, they shaved a portion of my head, so please no comments if you don’t like my hair. It’s temporary.) Again, thank you to everyone for sending positive vibes my way. It’s not gone unnoticed. ♥️ Fun fact: I now firmly believe the new plates in my brain will give me some sort of special ability. Fingers crossed I can suddenly knit a sweater in 1 day. Ooo maybe 1 hour. 😮 As for this picture (trust, you don’t want to see a pic of me at the moment), these are 2 projects I started a few weeks ago and I’m looking forward to finishing them before I return to work. Both are made with @lionbrandyarn (the one on the left is “Hue Me” and the one on the right is “Heartland”) - it’s obvious I have a specific color palette happening right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sending love to all of you guys! ♥️

Kirsten Storms Instagram - She’s a fierce little female with a mind of her own. She’s silly, but also extremely smart. She’s a great listener and will always ask her dad or me “How are you doing?” when she’s on the phone with one of us (if you’ve ever spoken on the phone with a kid her age then you know that’s rare). She truly cares about how the people she loves are feeling. Like, deeply cares. She’s an animal lover and I’m convinced every single one she comes into contact with can sense it. It’s like they’re drawn to her. She loves playing with makeup and building Lego sets. She will choose to wear a dress instead of jeans (every single time), but she will balance it out and wear dresses with converse or combat boots. There is so much more to her than all of this and I love that as the years go by I get to watch her personality continue to grow - even though I can feel it going by too fast (8 ALREADY?!). I love her more than life. I’m so proud to be her mom. 🥰 Her birthday was yesterday and we were so busy celebrating with her that I didn’t have a chance to post a birthday pic. This one was my favorite. ♥️ I love you, Harper Rose.

I also managed to take a selfie while waiting for my grilled cheese in the drive-thru and then the most important photo…my shoes (umm I LOVE these @ninashoes) and the In-N-Out bag at the end of the evening. I wish I had more pics to post, but I actually didn’t take my phone out once while I was there. It was so much fun to see everyone let loose and celebrate GH’s Emmy wins. 🍾🎉♥️ (TBH, there were some people tearing up the dance floor that I had no idea enjoyed dancing so much. I spent the last few years having random health issues that I disregarded as side affects to my medications or just something I was experiencing due to age. When I went to get an MRI for some severe neck pain I have been experiencing for the last few months (I assumed this neck pain was also causing my frequent “migraines”) my amazingly thorough orthopedist ordered an MRI of my head just to be on the “safe side” - even though that isn’t his area of expertise. Truly a great doctor. That’s when we stumbled upon a rather large, very full of fluid, cyst that was attached to the lower portion of brain. I feel very fortunate that my situation wasn’t more serious and that I had a wonderful neurosurgeon who immediately knew how to fix it. I’m not gonna lie, brain surgery had me nervous, but I’m immensely thankful to my family, friends, and incredible “work family” who have been supportive, kind and loving during a time when I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions. Work is a great place to be everyday and for the 2 months leading up to my surgery I found a lot of comfort being around the people I’ve worked beside for so many years. I’m excited to get back to it after my recovery. (Yes, they shaved a portion of my head, so please no comments if you don’t like my hair. It’s temporary.) Again, thank you to everyone for sending positive vibes my way. It’s not gone unnoticed. ♥️ Fun fact: I now firmly believe the new plates in my brain will give me some sort of special ability. Fingers crossed I can suddenly knit a sweater in 1 day. Ooo maybe 1 hour. 😮 As for this picture (trust, you don’t want to see a pic of me at the moment), these are 2 projects I started a few weeks ago and I’m looking forward to finishing them before I return to work. Both are made with @lionbrandyarn (the one on the left is “Hue Me” and the one on the right is “Heartland”) - it’s obvious I have a specific color palette happening right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sending love to all of you guys! ♥️

Caption : First, thank you for all of the well wishes I’ve received over the last few days. 🥰 Little bit of info for those who are wondering… I spent the last few years having random health issues that I disregarded as side affects to my medications or just something I was experiencing due to age. When I went to get an MRI for some severe neck pain I have been experiencing for the last few months (I assumed this neck pain was also causing my frequent “migraines”) my amazingly thorough orthopedist ordered an MRI of my head just to be on the “safe side” – even though that isn’t his area of expertise.
