I knew a girl , she was a beauty queen
Her face plastered over a hundred magazines
I was driving by she caught my eye
She was walking almost naked in high heels
Skinny as a starved child , I knew she was on heroin
She dragged her bigger then her weight bag with a modeling portfolio
Heading for the nearest strip club on sunset
As I drove on the boulevard of dreams with
Dead eyed actors depicted in various stages of underss of their soul
I couldnt shake my heartbreak of her vision
She was someones daughter , I met her at her sons babyshower
The girl most likely to win the next oscar married to a famous horror director
He left her for a pornstar , he left her addicted to cocain , he left her a single immigrant mom
At 22 only having her looks as a commodity to gradually be lost in the sea of monsters
Praying on her , like the dogs pray salvation on a chewed up bone
