Ilfenesh Hadera Instagram – In 2012, Kim Coleman cast me in Da Brick, a pilot that @officialspikelee was directing for HBO. During that shoot, I asked Spike to give me a list of a few of his favorite films: “On The Water Front”, “A Face In The Crowd”, “Night Of The Hunter” and Akira Kurosawa’s “Rashomon” were at the top. Before Spike, I was unfamiliar with Kurosawa, my grandmother would visit NY a few times a year and go to a double feature at Lincoln Plaza Cinema every day she was here but apart from her, film was not a huge part of my experience growing up. To board this reinterpretation of the Brilliant “High and Low” for Apple
