Jennifer Ashton Instagram – 3 things I never drink/ eat as a Nutritionist: 1) Soda (regular OR Diet). Adult women have approx 55% of our bodies made up of water, not soda. Therefore, this is the liquid our bodies need. Period.
2) processed/ deli meats: yes it’s protein BUT… these meats tend to be lower in protein than other kinds of meat because other animal parts are added. They are also very high in sodium and saturated fat. Processed meats are concidered carcinogenic (due to containing nitrites to extend shelf life) and linked to heart disease and diabetes.
