Narcissism is a trendy buzzword right now, often used as an insult or accusation, typically by people trained by TikTok rather than doctors. Obviously, that’s problematic. Yet, it’s important to face the reality that every human can be dangerously selfish. This trait is even more pronounced when you are a leader, especially if you are a pastor or spiritual leader. When you drop your defenses and honestly look at your own behavior, it’s amazing what kind of change that can produce.
