Nathalie Boltt Instagram – The character of Luna was disturbing and upsetting to play. Luckily, we used a child body double for most of her reverse shots, so that brave little Remy did not have to be there to take the brunt of this woman’s psychosis. Sadly, the creator of this film, @jinjara had no choice but endure these attacks during her own childhood, on which the film is based. I’ve been nominated for best actress at the Leo awards, but more than that, I hope The Ornament serves as a reminder that female abusers are real, terrifying and dangerous. Speak up if you are at the mercy of one.
