Nathalie Boltt Instagram – Thanks @leoawardsbc @jinjara @thejordanconnor @theornamentfilm for a fabulous night with fellow nominees and brave film makers who continue to carve a road for creativity and original content in spite of an entertainment industry that seems to be stuck in an uphill battle against risk aversion and recession. It feels like the flip side of boom times now and I don’t know if we will ever return to what was a thriving whirlwind of storytelling. I guess you/we/the audience will only be able to send the message to streamers and broadcasters that we need more scripted and intelligent viewing than sequels, prequels, super hero blah and reality TV brain -deadness by cutting our subscriptions and speaking out.
