Nazanin Boniadi Instagram – Thanks to Foreign Minister Penny Wong and South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas for meeting me today to discuss ways to support the Iranian people in their struggle for secular democracy and strengthening Australia’s actions in holding the Islamic Republic to account. This includes not only designating the IRGC as terrorists, but also revoking visas of regime officials and dependents and instead providing a safe haven for dissidents like @shilan.mirzaee18. We also discussed the need to have #genderapartheid recognized under international law. Thanks also to the @sydneypeacefoundation for this opportunity in conjunction with the 2023 Sydney Peace Prize. And to the @carlazampatti Foundation for supporting this year’s program.
