Padma Lakshmi Instagram – The last stop, Madrid. The first place I ever visited in Europe. I was in college and in an exchange student program, so we didn’t have a lot of money and I used to entertain myself by walking endlessly through the city. We don’t have a lot of pictures from this trip because it was so HOT I had to use an umbrella to walk around!! But I’m not much for crowds, and in August the city is empty and the museums are open.
