Padma Lakshmi Instagram – A big perk of going to Lisbon was being reunited with my dear friend @amennyc. Albert was my stylist on Top Chef for 13 years and in that time he became not only a trusted confidante and friend but like a brother to me. One of the hardest things about leaving Top Chef was that I knew I wouldn’t be able to spend extended amounts of time with my crew who became like our second family. Albert was the one who first taught Littlehands to climb a tree when we were filming the finale in Alaska. Albert was the one who came before me on set and left long after we filmed. Albert was whom I would make come to my room and watch tv late at night when I was too tired from filming to do little else but couldn’t sleep. And it was Albert who held me during heartbreak.
