Rachel Stevens Instagram – Anyone who know me knows that I’m a massive foodie and one of my favourite things to do as I’ve mentioned before is to eat out! One of my great joys but sometimes I can feel anxious about eating out when I’m trying to eat healthy? Maybe you can resonate …

• You go to the restaurant.
• You have no idea what you are going to order.
• The waitress then comes over to take your order ..

• You don’t know what to order.
• And out of habit you order the same as you usually would have.
• rush order or go for a usual go to
• You then go home and feel guilty and think I shouldn’t of eaten that
• Because it wasn’t nutritious or balanced

But Gemma has taught me the skills to make it so much easier and taken any over thinking out of it 🙌🏻- she calls it the “Forward planning method!”

This is what I now do;

• look up the restaurant I’m going to go to.
• Decide on the meal I am going to have in advance.
• Log that meal in advance with Gemma and ask her opinion on other options.
• know that I CAN tweak the menu – ask for things to be grilled not fried, ask for dressings on the side, ask for no butter on the veg, swap chips for rice.
This makes eating out so much more enjoyable and nutritious!

I’ve really learnt so much from doing the @fitbuddie.co.uk plan that when you forward plan and pre prep as much as you can the more in control you feel about making healthier choices. 🙌🏻xx
