Rhona Mitra Instagram – The science of the precise acquisition of kindling gathered in preparation the day before another frosty morning, to build the perfect fire to warm the house by day break.
The crackling of each hand picked pine cone and piece of bark, wood cut and harvested from our own ever giving forest, the gentle lull of snoring dogs, the morning chatter of the brave little birds and the quiet triumph in ones heart having tended to all the creatures before the sun hits the mountain, making a warm hard earned cup of tea taste like nectar sent from the gods.
This ballet of the flames is one of Winters greatest joys.
