At 54, my attitude towards my body is one of love, respect, and self-care. I’ve got curves, marks, scars, and saggy bits, but it’s these unfiltered parts of me that tell my story and make me unique. Embracing my authentic self and showing confidence in who I am connects me deeply to my true essence. In a world where skin is perfect, I choose to be real, because authenticity is where true beauty shines. Unfiltered, Confident , Real 🌟 #LoveYourself #BodyPositivity #AuthenticLiving #ConfidenceAtAnyAge

I remember the times when I walked and everything moved together – now my legs go one way and my stomach another 🤣 But seriously, you know when you see a bikini hanging up and you still think that you’re a size 8 and you try it on and remember I’m not 24 anymore but 54 and then think …. Fu*k it I’m gonna slay anyway …that’s where I’m at in these photos on this holiday. I like women with shape, curves, marks, wrinkles and scars because it’s real, it shows a life lived and it shows authenticity in a world that sometimes is so fake. The pressure nowadays is “dare to be your authentic self” in a world of filtered beauty. Set your own rules. Live by them and never regret not doing what you want to do. Bare it or cover it … your choice, your body … just be free and happy in it. ❤️ #femaleempowerment
I always believe that when the news is full of hatred and divisiveness it’s our responsibility to counteract that with news of love, hope and togetherness. I am a brown British woman from a Muslim family. My husband is a white British man from a Christian Background. We’ve been married 20years this December. We are both British. English. We have both throughout our life seen the Far Right raise its ugly head. As a couple we have seen the Islamophobia that has crept into our society. But what we have both realised is this : unless you are strong in yourself, respect yourself, take full responsibility for your circumstances, question what is really going on and come to your own conclusions – you will be manipulated into thinking how the media/politicians want you to think. My husband and I came together because of what we had in common and our differences is what made our relationship interesting. Here’s an interesting Fact: Around 677,000 people in the UK now define themselves as mixed. Mixed race people account for 1.2% of the total population and 14% of the ethnic minority population are mixed race, according to SocietyGuardian. This demographic is growing exponentially. I share this fact because there are many of us of different colours, cultures and religions coming together in relationships and in our everyday communities…this is hope, this is the good news and this is togetherness. Racists and fascists have had their day… but they’ve never won the day! Speak up for togetherness and be proud always to call out prejudice, discrimination, racism, inequality and hate. You cannot use the above to evoke violence …you have to raise your voice and peacefully change hate to love. You may call me a dreamer… but I’m not the only one. #love #peace #togetherness

🌸 I totally understand the body dysmorphia my generation of women feels. The images of tall, thin, flat-tummy women in their 50s going through menopause looking amazing does not reflect what most of us are experiencing. As a 5ft 2 woman healing a slipped disc, working through pain while running my skincare business, raising two teenagers, and living life, I’m stressed, knackered, thicker-waisted, and just trying to get through it with a smile. Hormonal imbalances have left me finding it harder to burn the extra calories pain has prevented me from doing any cardio and emotional eating had led to a vicious circle. That’s life, that’s the truth and it’s normal – I would have beaten myself for all this before … now I’m just kinder to myself always reminding myself I can only do what I can and I need to listen to my body . I cannot stress enough the importance of not comparing yourself to others. Connect with your own health and stay motivated to move and get strong for your future. Start your day with self-confidence, respect, and love for yourself. It’s not about being skinny; it’s about having good health, a strong positive mindset, and the strength to keep living life on your terms. Let’s embrace our uniqueness and focus on what truly matters. 💪❤️ #SelfLove #BodyPositivity #HealthOverSize #StrongWomen #SelfCare #staymotivated
