Sarah Drew Instagram – So… I’ve been busy. While I was shooting Mistletoe Murders, I was also writing a new script!! And… we started shooting on Monday! I’m not acting in this one, which means I get to just visit set and be entertained by this magical cast!! My biggest win in this whole thing is that I wrote the third lead for my brilliant friend @kaleymccormack who you might remember as my best friend in #branchingout . You never know how these things are gonna shake out and I didn’t have final say on casting- didn’t even see her tape, but she auditioned- KILLED IT and was cast! When I got the news I got to call her and I couldn’t stop shaking and crying!! Yesterday I got to see her (and my absolutely brilliant and beautiful 2 leads) bring my words and my world to life and I couldn’t be happier!!! Such a fun day on set. I can’t share more than this yet- besides the fact that I get to work with @jakehelgren and @autumnfederici again- and they are a powerhouse team- not to mention an absolute JOY!
