Trudie Styler Instagram – I wanted to share our latest superhero story from the @superhumans.center in Lviv. Last January, 11yr old Sasha Reshetnya was heading out with his cousin Alina to buy groceries from the local store. On their way, a Russian shell exploded on the roadside. Tragically Sasha lost his leg, while Alina died 10 days later from multiple injuries. A few months ago Sasha began treatment at Superhumans, where he’s undergone five surgeries and a very lengthy recovery process. This remarkable boy has conquered what for many could have been insurmountable hurdles at such a young age. Thanks to this state of the art centre, thousands are being treated for injuries sustained in this terrible war. We are pleased to report that Sasha, the youngest patient to receive a prosthesis is back on his feet and playing his beloved football again.
