Camryn Manheim Instagram – Jacob McNeal (Robert Downey Jr.) is a great writer, one of the greatest. A perpetual candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature, McNeal is driven by an engine only a narcissist could sustain.
McNeal also has an estranged son, a few powerful women he has to contend with, a new novel, and an unhealthy fascination with Artificial Intelligence.
Bravo to Robert for taking on this epic role. He is wonderful, dynamic, grandiose and plays the role to perfection. A man in need of relentless admiration.
Melora Hardin is outstanding as the retired editor of the New York Times. So moving. So smart. So compelling. So radiant. So powerful.
The entire cast is excellent including Andrea Martin, Ruthie Ann Miles, Brittany Bellizeare, Saisha Talwar and Rafi Gavron (who gives a particularly heartbreaking performance.)

Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher. It is so clever, surprising, innovative and current. It’s also terrifying to realize that we can never put the A.I. genie back in the bottle. I haven’t stopped talking about since I saw it. Get your tickets before it sells out, if it hasn’t already.
