Milk and cookies after her first ever morning at school… She may be 4 years old going on 16 and a half, but she’s still my baby 💕… so lump in throat today as my last born moves onto the next milestone of her life – with the ease of someone who’s been waiting impatiently since about January to start school 😂. It’s fair to say she didn’t even give me a moment’s thought as she sauntered through the gate. Very proud of you Florence. How’re all you other reception parents and carers getting on?
Haven’t been on Loose Women for 4 weeks, and haven’t been on ITV News a fortnight! and basically I haven’t washed my hair in a couple weeks either 😂. But I’m back on @loosewomen tomorrow. Yay!! So I thought it was probs best for all concerned that I give the barnet a proper wash, a deep condition, and get my arse back into TV mode. Lol. Today was a special day on Loose! Sometimes, when you don’t even know you need it, a hug from an old friend just eases your soul and brings you so much peace. Today that happened, when one of my oldest friends @ro_nkrumah surprised me on set performing with the cast of Mamma Mia! The Party. Rosemary features in No Place Like Home, and to see her the day before publication just brought me to tears. Love this girl so much I can’t even tell you. 👉🏾 And, having seen ABBA Voyage twice – getting to meet Bjorn was just so magical. He’s such a special person. All in all, my first day back on @loosewomen was just brilliant ❤️ Top: @tedbaker Trousers: @thefoldlondon

Publication day for “No Place Like Home” is THIS THURSDAY!! Aaaaaaarghhhh!! A huge part of mine and the contributors’ stories of “Home” involved food and family meals. So on a recent trip to see my sis @_carinawh in Florida, we roped our American cousin David Jr into cooking a family meal for us using all the fish he’d caught the day before ❤️. So he whipped up battered fish to remind us of our London home… and Cuban blackened fish to remind us of his dad’s home. 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇨🇺 What’s your favourite meal that reminds you of home?
