One of the questions, DM’s, comments etc that I receive the most are things along the lines of:
“you’re always so vibrant!”
“You don’t look chronically ill at all”
“You don’t act autistic.”
This is your gentle reminder that you never know what is going on behind the scenes; good or bad. You don’t know a persons whole journey; this is especially so when we see people in the spotlight that are disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill.
I am always disabled.
I am always autistic.
I am always chronically ill.
