Home Actress Grace Byers HD Photos and Wallpapers September 2024 Grace Byers Instagram - This was a truly incredible moment for the #Deaf #CODA communities. ❤️ Growing up as a CODA, I was always hyper-aware of my parents’ deafness. In our environment, it was a culture that few understood and even less were apart of, so, as a child, I constantly shied away from it. It wasn’t until I became a young adult that I truly began to understand how wonderful it was to be apart of this culture, and unique in this way. Many years later, to see a film like @codamovie and to witness space being carved out for it - for the awareness of Deaf culture - brings tears to my eyes. A huge congratulations to the entire @codamovie for this historic win.💫 A gentle reminder: the thing that makes you different, is the very thing that makes you (deeply) special. 🤍 love ya’ll 🤟🏽.

The image of a spinning ballerina needing a steady focal point (or ‘spot’) to remain balanced, stays with me often.

It reminds me that if parts of my life feel imbalanced, it’s usually because I’m transfixed on something unstable, unsteady or inconstant. In those moments, I remind myself to take a breath, recalibrate and nudge my vision back to what’s grounded, consistent and firmly planted. 🙏🏽🤍🩰

What ‘spot’ helps to keep your vision steady?👇🏽
