Greta Thunberg Instagram – Week 314. The last week, activists from the Nordic countries gathered in Stavanger to disrupt and protest against ONS – one of the world’s biggest oil conferences with 60 000 participants.
The fossil fuel industry is among the absolute main drivers of the climate crisis, and many other humanitarian crises all over the world. It has been clearly established that the actions of these companies directly lead to immense suffering, death and destruction. Conferences like ONS give these companies a platform to plan for further devastation and to greenwash themselves, even though they have blood on their hands. We demand climate justice and an immediate and fair phase out from fossil fuels!
If we want to stand up for justice, protect humans and the planet, we have no other option but to show resistance against this industry. Speak up and join the movement for climate justice to be on the right side of history.
