Lucy Davis Instagram – Apparently it’s international book day! Reading is one of the biggest joys of my life. You can switch the world off when you read, sink into stories whether real or imagined, it’s a form of meditation, of peace. Not staring at a screen. The smell of books makes me feel peaceful. I’ve only chosen 11 of my favorite reads here, but there could be hundreds! Have you guys read any of these? And what are your favorites? I’m always looking for new authors that have a lot of books, so would love recommendations! Enjoy!

6. Polo – Jilly Cooper – always a fun read
7. The sense and Sensibility diaries by #emmathompson Emma writes daily dairies whilst shooting her film. They’re informative and very funny!
8. The witch of Portobello – #paulocoelho – always learn a lot from his books
9. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – #jkrowling
10. Escape from Camp 14 – Blaine Harden – one of the very few people that has ever escaped the camps in North Korea and loved to tell the tale
