it’s the hardest step.. and the most necessary.. to breathe & slow down & realise what’s really going on around you..
the family members you love & trust & want to help heal are the reason why you can’t breathe..
stepping away doesn’t seem like the option but it’s important to know it’s the only option..
hope & pray that the debates that #jafaa has started are helpful for women suffering in silence.. even if one girl can see her reality through our lens & stand up for herself.. our job is done..
Physical abuse garbed in emotional abuse is hard to identify.. even harder to survive it & walk out of it.. playing Zara & especially one of the scenes in today’s episode was utterly painful..
