Shohreh Aghdashloo Instagram – Grammy-Winning Artist Shervin Hajipour Sentenced to Over 3 Years in Prison
Shervin Hajipour announced via an Instagram video that his appeal for the protest song “Baraye” was unsuccessful, confirming a sentence of three years and eight months.
He is required to present himself to prison within the next few days.
Despite the lift on his travel ban, Shervin affirms, “I truly love my country and I have no plans to leave Iran.”
