It’s been one of the most challenging but rewarding jobs of my career to date. Six hours of solo live broadcasting on a multiport event. As our brilliant NBC leader Amy Rosenfeld said, “It doesn’t get much harder than that.”
I was by no means perfect in my performance, but I gave it my all, and I am so proud to be a small part of such an important moment and movement.
Congrats to all the athletes who participated in the games. You made us—disabled and non-disabled folks alike—proud. Bring on LA28!!
Thank you to ALL the team – Katherine (the most efficient, dependable and joyful runner imaginable), Jennings, Alexa, Beth, Nina, Andy, Kim, Jermicia, all the Glam Squad, the production team and fellow hosts – you are the best of the best. As they say in America “I appreciate you” and as we say in the U.K. “I am KNACKERED”.
