Nobody has the guts to really say what they really mean anymore, in case they are judged. But unless we allow ourselves to ask about the things that are wrong, like what’s happening in Gaza and Lebanon, this cycle of shame over not being able to say the right thing will stop us from speaking. Women are being stopped from speaking in public right now as we breathe. And also, we must live. Live the biggest and fullest life and not be ashamed of our joy.
