Sienna Guillory Instagram – New moon 🌙 new chapter. Since I was 17 and splashed on tabloids I knew I didn’t want to be famous; I wanted to be able to make mistakes. I was scared and uncomfortable and wanted to be allowed to become irrelevant so I’d have room to grow. I wanted to be the actor that people sort of know but they don’t know why or where from.
Thousands of sets, hundreds of crews. Obviously masochistic; people don’t write many scripts about a nice day pottering in matching socks, acting is mostly hoping to be chosen to repeatedly experience generally the worst imaginable human scenarios, and not be allowed to say things unless someone else has written them..but its this stuff that takes all the humility and grit and kindness, the uncool stuff, that makes us all grow into different actors. But the intense joy of working with people that get that, that get me, feels wildly alive.
