Macbeth Act 1 Scene 1 Sometimes I think about all the pettiness of the world and how Shakespeare explained and revealed it so truthfully. What is the human desire to kill? Translation of text: He is a man who is so hardened by life’s hardships, that he is willing to do anything, even murder, to spite the world and prove his own worth indifferent to any consequence. Maybe if we spoke about this feeling of destruction we’d kill less? What I’m thinking about today.
