This one felt a bit vulnerable… The question was asking “what does a healthy grandparent / adult child relationship look like” and TBH we are still working it out We both initially had expectations my mom would be super involved with the grandkids and… that’s just not the case She’s trying to be true to her authentic self and time / bandwidth / interests / capacity And I’m grieving the loss of a dream I thought we both still shared I think ultimately “healthy” looks a bit like this though – open & honest dialogue with one another about where we really are. I’m really grateful we have the opportunity to stay connected as we work through it.
Driving through upstate New York while filming some new episodes of @collectorscall and look what exit I just passed! I was so tempted to turn off and go see how it has changed since I was in high school. 😍 Wouldn’t be the same without Mrs. Garrett, though. 😢

What a ride the film festival circuit has been. We started the festival run exactly one year ago and won Grad Prize at the Culver City Film Festival. And we close the festival run at the Yellowstone International Film Festival with Kylee Levien and Lisa Whelchel both winning for Outstanding Female Performance In A Feature Film.
