Melanie Lynskey Instagram – My daughter is a HUGE fan of Gabby’s Dollhouse and I was so lucky to be invited to be a guest on the show ‘Gabby & Friends’ on the @gabbysdollhouse YouTube channel.
One of my favourite things about the show has been watching @lailalockhartkraner as Gabby. She is so funny, sweet and natural, and she’s creating all that lovely energy ALONE with just stuffies and a grumpy cat as scene partners. What a joy it was to get to hang out with her and see how talented and professional and kind she is in real life and on a set. She put me at ease and was so fun to work with. Casting director friends, please know that Laila is the real deal! The whole team was lovely. What a great day. I filmed this in NY while I was there doing press, so my little one wasn’t able to be with me, but I got to send her a video that Laila made for her and the scream this child let out was unlike anything I’ve ever heard.
