Fwaaah. Last week was roughhh. My hormones hijacked my brain, my brain hijacked my body, i dont even know lol. Was going through these photos and noticed this one. So, I got this little scar on my arm last year on set when shooting. It was a burn, and I was worried that it would affect continuity, that it would scar. All I could think was “That cannot happen. I need to sort this out FAST. I know. I’ll go get an oil for scars!!” Went to the pharmacy, got the oil, but then the very clever @tesspang (I miss cooking with you and our kitchen table talks🥲) was like, I think you should probably get antibiotic cream first, maybe ask the pharmacist? She pointed us to the antibiotic cream, then I asked her, actually can I just start using the oil first. And she went “Noooooooo, pleasseee don’t!! Noooo, let your skin heal. Give it time, it WILL heal. Pleaaase, LET IT HEAL.” (How sweet was this woman??) And how right she was?!! Some things just take time, some things can’t be rushed, sometimes, the body will do what it does and all we can do is learn to breathe through it. The Easy to Say podcast is OUT!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING. A podcast??! Wow. A couple of years ago, Kenn @splicestudios floated the idea of a podcast but I had nothing I wanted to talk about. Then a recent catchup led to a random discussion about podcasts which led to this! It has been a whirlwind journey but here’s to going with the flow!! Your expertise and steadiness has truly made this journey such a fabulous one!!!! 𝑬𝑨𝑺𝒀 𝑻𝑶 𝑺𝑨𝒀 𝑷𝑶𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑻 I LOVE talking about all sorts of relationships and I do love giving advice (and getting it!!) hahah. But… Advice is really damn Easy to Say, right?? For the people who asked, thank you for sharing and I HOPE THERE’S SOMETHING USEFUL FOR YOU IN THERE!! Sending you so much love!! I can’t think of a better person to do this with than my bestie of 25 years, @rosie.mcgowan . This woman has wisdom and empathy beyond what I think is humanly possible, she is damn funny, opens and holds space for people, reminds them of the goodness in them, so kind, insightful, so much grace.
