It was so special to treat them, show them around, share stories, and have meaningful conversations, all while making sure they had the best time. Oh, how many tears went into making this video 🥹 Never in my life did I think I’d love someone as much as I love this boy. Your little hugs, kisses, kindness, compassion, and confidence, everything you do is admired, my sweet boy. I hope you grow up to be the gentlest soul, filled with love and care in your heart. To someone who fought her way to what she thought was freedom, knowing all eyes were on her, waiting for any misstep. Every choice I made was questioned, talked about, and often belittled. During the hardest years of my life, I couldn’t even turn to my family for comfort because it was my choice to study outside instead of marrying. It was my choice to break the mold. I didn’t want to risk my sisters’ futures by giving anyone a reason to say, “Your sister did this, so you can’t do that.” I’m in a much better place now. My relationship with my parents has grown to a point where I can actually share and talk about things that were once off-limits. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it’s been a beautiful one. 🎀
