I didn’t think there was actually a video of me dancing for the first time in a decade … without pain and feeling a sense of freedom… but @aishianeyes sent me this from Camp Protégé last week and I had to share 💛
I’m sharing because I’m in awe of my body’s potential to heal despite 5 hip surgeries. I’m grateful to have let myself “fail” enough to show up in full honesty in this re-entry into moving. Im recognizing my growth in self love as I move with more knowledge and acceptance instead of harsh judging and expectations. I’m proud for recognizing that I NEED to dance for no one else but myself.
It’s a long journey to relearn things… but I share in hopes to encourage others to not give up ever and I share as a squeeze to my incredible body , heart, mind and spirit.
