Spending our first few days together as a family at the postnatal retreat @ahmaandco was a memory we will never forget. ☁️ 📍 Ahma & Co Located inside the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach @wamonarchbeach The property was absolutely stunning. The meals curated by Chiyo were delicious and filled with nourishing ingredients. The doulas were available 24/7 to talk and educate us on any question, topic, or worry that came up. These women were fantastic. I talked to them for hours, sometimes in the middle of the night. We learned about lactation, baby wearing, bottle feeding, and they even showed us how to give Charlie her first bath and baby massage together. 🥹 Everything was thought of to create a postpartum experience that is healing and empowering. This was such a special experience that highlights what can happen when postpartum care is put first. Thank you Ahma and Co ❤️

Charlie Rei 🎀 Our sweetest baby girl has forever changed our lives. She was born to her daddy’s music with the gentlest little personality and a full head of hair. There’s not enough words to capture our love for her. Our beautiful little baby owl, we love you beyond the stars.
39 weeks of loving you Through all the ups and downs nothing could prepare me for it all. The joy of the first ultrasound. Then the panic hits when you’re considered high risk. That strange feeling of first tiny kicks that felt like butterflies dancing upon your skin. Almost two years of an autoimmune disorder that made us wonder if we would ever meet you. The people that would show up and help abate the worries. The sleepless nights of creating pillow walls and icing numb arms. Toasty bagels and becoming an ice cream sandwich tester. I’m a foodie now, I guess. I want to remember all the highs and lows that have brought us so close to meeting you. The journey has been the most alive I’ve ever felt. We can’t wait, little one. <3
