Emma Heming Instagram – Part 3 of 3 FTD Advocacy Updates 🚨 Being able to see firsthand the awareness @michellehincheynysenate is bringing to the NY state capitol was really meaningful and impactful for me. Senator Hinchey is and has truly been a champion in every sense of the word for our FTD community. She understands why awareness is so important as her father, Representative Maurice D. Hinchey had FTD. Her work has also inspired me greatly to become an advocate. When I learned about FTD Awareness Week being recognized in NY due to Senator Hinchey’s work, I thought, I want to do that in CA ✅ Now I understand why a FTD registry is so important, that I’d like to pursue that for our home state too. I’ll happily follow her lead and share it with all of you in hopes you’ll be inspired to pursue all these avenues for your state as well. This is truly a team effort but it’s worth rolling our sleeves up for 💞
