Wow, how hard is it to eat healthy while traveling? Seriously, it’s like trying to find a unicorn! 🦄 I usually have my cravings on lockdown—hormonal stuff, you know? Women’s struggles are real! And then there’s my son, who somehow always convinces me to want things I didn’t even know I craved. 🤦♀️ So, breakfast? Total fail. The salmon was smoked to a crisp, and bagels? Nah, I’d rather eat a shoe. Brian decided to play the “I don’t want anything” game, and I ended up dropping $70 for a breakfast that could’ve fed a small village. 🙄 We rolled out of the room with him hungry, and I found myself munching on stuff I didn’t even want. Classic! But hold up—Serafina in Tribeca saved the day! 🙌 Their kids’ menu is legit, and I know Brazilian tourists swear by it. We went for a grown-up plate for the kids (my niece, nephew, and sister joined), and the pomodoro pasta was a hit! 🍝 My sister’s steak looked so good I almost asked her for a bite. @serafinanewyork 🍝 Next up was the Ice Cream Museum, which was a blast for the kiddos! 🎉 @museumoficecream 🍦 Tried to hit up Sugar Fish for dinner, but 90 minutes? @sugarfishbynozawa Nope, not with hungry kids in tow! But hey, we walked so much today I think I burned off a slice of that salmon. 😂 Added all the juicy deets, beauty must-haves, and outfit inspo to my Insta stories. We kicked off our NYC adventure by hitting the road around mid-morning for a quick hour drive to Manhattan, zooming straight to our hotel, which is super close to Times Square. The hotel is a blast, and our room is just adorable! The decor is filled with fun trivia about famous entertainers that I never even knew—such a cool touch! @hardrockhotelnyc We’re within walking distance of Central Park, the new Louis Vuitton pop-up store, FAO Schwarz @faoschwarz , and Rockefeller Plaza (where, by the way, the famous Christmas tree is under construction, but the ice rink is all set!). We also visited the LEGO @lego store, and Brian decided to film his first-ever “YouTube” style video while putting together his LEGO set. Seriously, he was just too cute! #newyork #manhattan For lunch/dinner, we hit up Jams @jams_nyc right by Central Park. I used to stay at this hotel @1hotels a lot when I was a member of Inspirato @inspirato , so it feels like a home away from home. We walked so much today, and only at the end did we finally catch a taxi, which decided to take the long way around and charged us $16 for it. Ugh, I hate when they assume I’m a tourist! But I didn’t say anything because, let’s be real, cab driving is tough, and who knows, maybe it was just a mistake.
