8 months of chemotherapy, MRI’s, lab work, dressing changes, PET scans, sonograms, radiation, appointments, follow-up appointments, cardiologist, oncologist, neurologist, radiologist, pulmonologist. 20 nights in the care of the wonderful nurses in Harkness and today we brought you home. This Thanksgiving I’m grateful for all the folks @nyphospital who have cared for my father since April. I’m grateful for all the dedicated nurses and PAs who pull 12 hour shifts not only without complaint, but with patience, beauty, grace and humor- you all are earth angels. Wishing you and yours the simple but often elusive pleasure of each others company and good health. Happy Thanksgiving everyone ♥️
