Jennie has always had integrity and grit and is a fearlessly brave actor. Over the past 6 years Jennie has lived with the painfully, challenging and life altering illness ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis). Jennie has become a voice for other people living with ME, who are being ignored by the NHS.
I always say to actors, “If You Want To Be A Great Actor, Be A Great Person;” Jennie is the embodiment of this. I love and respect you. Thank you for sharing this journey.”

From the beginning with my first role on ITV’s “The Bill” as Katie Fielding to the next one as Annie Miller for the BBC “Desperate Romantics” and the others which followed, Leon has been my acting coach; only ever a phone call or a hot cuppa tea away!
Believe it or not, I have known Leon since my teenage years, when I went to him for private tuition in London. And then, when life took me to work further afield we connected for our classes online! Leon has been an inspiration to how I approach my scripts as an actress. And since navigating life with M.E. I have reached out to Leon for advice on my writing projects too. I’m honoured to have had Leon as such a big part of my journey.”
