Jewel

Jewel Instagram – Oil painting has been a very rewarding part of my art practice. It’s very calming and meditative. It requires so much focus and endlessly difficult. Capturing light on form with color is my favorite part … just like w music I have always lived around genres so I can keep learning – and MJ visual art practice is the same. I know with painting I will branch out into other styles like abstract , but for now this is where I am loving what I am learning. Amd it’s a nice change from the sculpture I am working on which is such a different process! Can’t wait to tell you all more about that soon
