Mica Burton Instagram – Belated Japan posting number 3.5 (it’s just a baby snippet but deserves a post LOL)! Okay so. You know I’m a nerd; I collect figurines, wear merch, etc etc. I am also a little more unhinged about it than you might know. So this post is labeled OTAKU MICA LFG!! I spent a hell of a lot of time in Akihabara and Shibuya and Ikebukuro indulging myself in weeb shit. And yes, I’m that girlie with photocards and ita bags. And YES I spent 13 days searching for doujin of my favorite One Piece ship (it’s MiShanks obviously, it’s practically canon if you ask me), and when I found it I gasped so loud @vintageaerith could hear me from practically a different aisle. Shoutout to her for photographing my reaction after finding it. I loaded up on merch of my favorite Love Live, Idolmaster, and Project Sekai idols, and I also swiftly got into VTubers while abroad and will stan Houshou Marine till the day I die.
One Piece aside, I spent time in so many Mandarakes and Lashingbangs and losing my money in crane game arcades EXCEPT THE ONE TIME I WON, and loved every second of it. The amount of acrylic standees and oshitaku items I came back with is insane.
