”It is a great privilege for me to be here tonight, to celebrate women art and cinema.
and to be celebrated as an actress, as a woman, and as the mother of my own little diva My Lea.
I feel very fortunate to be in this dreamlike city, Venice .
but I cannot ignore the fact that while we are here, my country and my people are experiencing the worst times since the Holocaust.
My hope is that art can inspire us to choose better lives for our children, so that this war may end, and our beloved hostages may return home Alive .
I dedicate this award to all the women who were called Diva for using their voice to a say ‘NO,’ and who ask for more.
I dedicate it this award to the women who no longer have a voice: to Giulia Cecchettin, Giulia Tramontano, Mahsa Amini, and Eden Yeruslami, who was killed by Hamas after more than 300 days of captivity.
I share this recognition with them and hope that it can inspire young girls, including my daughter, to own their voices, to be free in their bodies, and to feel safe wherever they go.
This is not a privilege—it is our right.
And if this means being called a Diva, then I am honored to be called that”.
זו זכות גדולה עבורי להיות בפסטיבל ונציה, לחגוג אמנות וקולנוע, כשחקנית, כאישה, וכאמא לדיווה הקטנה שלי.
אני מרגישה ברת מזל להיות כאן, בוונציה החלומית, מוקפת באבק כוכבים, אבל איני יכולה להתעלם מהעובדה שבאותו הזמן, המדינה שלי והעם שלי עוברים את התקופה הקשה ביותר מאז ימי השואה.
אני מקדישה את הפרס הזה ל- 101 החטופות והחטופים בשבי החמאס, ולכל הנשים ברחבי העולם שקולן לא נשמע: לג’וליה צ’צ’טין וג’וליה טרמונטנו שסיפורן הסעיר את איטליה, למהסא אמיני הצעירה האיראנית שמותה הצית את מחאת החיג’אב באיראן, ולעדן ירושלמי ז״ל שהתבשרנו על רציחתה בשבי החמאס לאחר 320 ימים של תופת בשבי. אני חולקת איתכן את אות הדיווה ומקווה לתת השראה לנערות צעירות, כולל בתי הקטנה, להשמיע את קולן, לחיות בחופשיות ולזכות לחופש על גופן, ולהרגיש בטוחות בכל מקום שהן הולכות.
זו לא פריבילגיה – זו זכותנו.
ואם זה אומר שאני דיווה, אז כבוד
