2nd time round ✌🏻100% happier to no longer be pregnant 😂 I will say tho, this time round, my labour experience was a 180 flip! Instead of going into labour unexpectedly during my first pregnancy when my water broke at 35weeks with a 16-hr labour and 30-min of pushing, my baby girl was very cozy in my belly all the way up to 39weeks 😅 So much so my OB had to manually break my water and have me induced to kickstart labour of which lasted 5–hrs with only 15-min of pushing! I was also smarter this time round and requested for my epidural ahead of time— positive side; couldn’t feel ANY pain 😌 negative side; puked from nausea 5x 🤮 (a common side effect of epidurals) buttttt I’ll take hangover pukes > labour pains any day 😬 So grateful to have birthed a healthy baby girlie and crazy thankful for the support of my hubby, my family, friends & community of mummies who are my much needed support system during this very sensitive postpartum recovery period ❤️🩹 Overall, I genuinely had a relatively positive birth experience and as I post this, I’m in the thick of confinement and excited to share my amazing confinement experience as well!
