Nicola Correia Damude Instagram – ❤️My Sweet Friends, Fans and Family. Hello Again. I know that many of you noticed that I took a little Social Media break this Winter. It has been almost two months since my last post. It was not an intentional break at first. In December I found myself feeling exhausted by the thought of trying to share my feelings as the New Year approached and I decided to listen to and respect that instinct. Like many of you, 2021 was one of the hardest years of my Life. I am someone who has so many points of privilege but, even with all of the advantages I am lucky to have, I found myself wilting and grappling with the heaviness and anxiety of the pandemic, the political and cultural heartaches we have encountered and the professional and personal tolls that this moment in the World has taken. In each day I have had moments of feeling great fear and great Hope, profound sadness and profound Gratitude. It has been a time of looking at my life and the World around me and asking myself who I want to be and how I want to walk through this new World as I Grow and Change. I needed to take some time to sit in these feelings and face these challenges and find my centre again. The best advice I received in this time was to let myself feel all these things. To find strength and pride in allowing myself to feel it all and then move forward. And now I’m moving Forward. It’s good to be back and I look forward to sharing 2022 with you!
