This powerful film tells the inspiring true story of Roya Mahboub and the Afghan Dreamersāa team of young women who broke barriers and pursued their dreams against incredible odds. Playing Roya was a deeply meaningful experience for me, and I canāt wait for you all to see this story come to life.
As I reflect on the current challenges facing women and girls in Afghanistan today, and in so many other places, this story feels more urgent than ever. Rule Breakers is a testament to resilience, courage, and the unwavering spirit of women fighting for their future.
Itās been a while since Iāve posted here, but this project is so close to my heart, and I hope it resonates with you as much as it did with me.
