Oon Shu An Instagram – This was extraordinarily painful to put together. The levels of violence being inflicted on another human being is heartbreaking. The normalisation of that violence is terrifying. Why does a website like that even fucking exist??
31.7% of men would 🍇 a woman if there were no consequences. And those are just the people who answered honestly. Why haven’t we reached a point where any form of SA is not even on the list of things that’s permissible to do to another human being? You know, like cannibalism? That’s pretty much universally reviled right? May I ask why SA isn’t on that list of things that are universally reviled?
Would this change if the stats were flipped and majority of SA’s were carried out against men?
So very often, it was someone the victim knew. Someone the victim loved. Are we supposed to walk around fearing and distrusting everyone? Even those closest to us? Or do we also “not all men” ourselves and hope for the best?
“Please, I hope he loves me more than he loves getting his rocks off.”
“Please, I hope he genuinely sees me as a human being.”
“Please, I hope he is part of the 68.3%.”
Really?
Are there more men who are willing to do the work to see how the patriarchy harms them, to see how they knowingly or unknowingly uphold the systems that harm us ALL and make this world disproportionately more dangerous for women and then do something about it?
I am not a man, I have not experienced how the patriarchy specifically harms men, here are some men who are doing some great work exploring that and re-imagining how things could be.

If you have more resources, please share them. One thing I hope to see more is men asking themselves what they can do instead of defending themselves with “Not all men.”
