Oak is known for its strength and endurance, and it runs through every facet of The Macallan. Their oak casks are made and repaired by highly skilled in-house coopers. They take an average of 6 years to craft, and are responsible for 80% of the flavour and 100% of its colour. The byproduct created while making The Macallan’s iconic oak casks; wood chippings, are innovatively incorporated into The Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak’s box and bottle labels.

The Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak is matured in a combination of first fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks. You get the classic sweetness from the American oak, intense vanilla bean, citrus and fragrant pear.
