Pooja Bedi Instagram – Starting my throwback series with a photograph on the sets of my talk show JUST POOJA on Zoom, with two amazing men who have really made me/ us all laugh, think and be thoroughly entertained over the past couple of decades. @karanjohar @shekhusuman Laughter is truly what bonds and unites us. It’s said that Humour is tragedy in hindsight, and also said that laughter is the best medicine. It’s important to know the difference at laughing WITH someone v/s laughing AT someone. One is about sharing joy, the other is about ego and false sense of superiority. In this “politically correct” era, gone are the days when we could harmlessly tease and joke about communities, ethnicities, diversity, peculiarities and even all genders. yes, back then there was no ill intention to hurt anyone with jokes, it was a celebration of pecularities. I feel intention is key. And the greatest ability is the ability to laugh at oneself. My mom always said, “if the world laughs at you, laugh right back because it’s just as wonderful and strange as you are.
