Superwowstyle Instagram – As someone who has personally struggled with debilitating anxiety for as long as I could remember, this is one trick that’s always helped me.

Often used by psychologists to teach their patients how to tune into the moment, (instead of getting all carried away with worries),
this handy little hack can prevent meltdowns and panic attacks…
esp if you delve into it right when you notice your anxiety taking over (at the early stages).

Note: Once I have calmed down a little using this 3-3-3 trick for anxiety,
I try to stay as quiet as possible,
and still leave the situation as soon as I can.
To continue engaging with something or someone that’s triggering me could still get overwhelming for my brain.

Also, remember, this is not a solution for your anxiety. It’s just a way prevent the situation from getting worse. To solve for anxiety, you must get to the root cause and deal with it systematically (opting for professional therapy can be quite helpful).
