I’ve never been one to get wrapped up in a number. I love birthdays! I love celebrating life! But this one has felt so different in my head for so many different reasons. So many unspoken expectations of what 40 years looked like. So many outspoken conversations of all the dreams 40 years already made come true. So here I am. 40. Wow. I’m so grateful for all of the experiences that got me here. All of the world I’ve gotten to see. All of the beautiful humans I’ve shared life with. A convo, a laugh, a scene, a trip, a workout, a hike, a good pizza, a class, a hug, a win, a good cry. Thank you for shaping these 4 decades into a life I’m so incredibly proud of and for giving me the validation that these relationships, these experiences are everything I’ve done right so far. Really, really right. ☺️ These photos resemble a vision in my head born so many years ago. A thought. A desire. A little wish turned dream come true. And to have had my mom there behind the camera and also share in this adventure was beyond priceless. No words actually. So here’s to more thoughts, desire, little wishes, as I make MANY more of these in the years to come. This – is – 40. 🥰

Life always has its way of preparing you for what’s coming! I love the story of this special prep. ☺️ We’ve all heard ‘Life Imitates Art’ and this time around my art was almost foreshadowing my life! Well kinda! I want to thank @onlykitrich for *being* the example and inspiration way before I knew I’d ever need it. It’s been a year since the very first day I met ‘Liv. To celebrate I got three different outfits (& accessories of course!😜) and she chose her favorite for our special -girls only- brunch date. 🥰😋 Thank you @pinkandboujeela for a perfect start to our new tradition! I’m so far behind in my posts but life remains so much to celebrate. We took a trip to Florida in Oct to celebrate the year of ‘40’ with friends I’ve known up to 32 years! Yes. Family!! 🫶🏽 We also got to share some time with David’s family who also live in Florida! I know right?! His mom was teaching me how to golf ya’ll! Baby steps but also, how cool?! Getting that last brunch in with the whole fam together was (ya’ll already know!) so special. 🥹😘💓 Can’t wait to share more about what we’ve been up to. Aghhh This year is flyiiiiiing!

Our movie was written by a super inspiring and incredibly ambitious woman featuring a cast of the same! I was honored to share the screen with a bunch of baddies 🤩🙌🏽 If you can’t tell winning was SO unexpected and absolutely so much fun! My speech was 🤪 but from the heart. Thank you Kit for writing such a layered character and to the voting committee for the recognition. Such a proud moment. 🥰🙌🏽

We had the LA premiere of @isabelsgardenmovie at LA LIVE a few weeks ago and I’m just now getting to post this! Thank you to those of you who made it out through that crazy presidential traffic and the protests. It was surreal watching it (for my first time too!) in a huge theatre with a group of my friends and soooo many supporters of everyone involved in the film. How special! I’m so proud of this story and I cant wait to share moments from our screening last week! 🥰 PS – I found 4 dimes!!! #iykyk

Soooo my friends KNOW a group work out is my idea of a good time! 😂 We always squeeze in something active on my birthday and THIS year was THE BEST! An 80’s inspired spin class @risecycleco and mis amigos committed!!! Our instructor at Rise Cycle Co, Sophia, was so good! She used some songs from my bday playlist and kept the entire class super hyped! It was AMAAAAZING!! THE best way to start this new decade! Aghhhhh love watching this lil recap! 🥹🙌🏽
