It’s been a year since the very first day I met ‘Liv. To celebrate I got three different outfits (& accessories of course!😜) and she chose her favorite for our special -girls only- brunch date. 🥰😋 Thank you @pinkandboujeela for a perfect start to our new tradition!

JULY 6TH
Today in time
God had in store
A special gift
She was only four.
A ball of energy
You got me soaked!
Those water guns
were full of hope.
“Thanks!” to those friends
Your mom and dad too,
Trusting my heart
Would care for yours too.
Today in time
Little did we know
How fast our love
Would quickly grow.
I was nervous,
For what it’s worth
I hadn’t been there
Since your birth.
A unique package
Full of my dreams
All of my wishes
None of my genes.
So today in time
is for you and just me
To water this branch
Of our new family tree.
